Acorns to Oaks Horsemanship Center is a full-service horseback riding and educational center for all ages. Our mission is to provide a place that fosters positive physical and mental health for people and horses.
The idea for AOHC began when founders Kelly and Abigail realized they shared a belief in the healing power of horses. This belief became a business plan and, ultimately, a reality with the help of our small but loving herd of horses. Our hope is that anyone who comes to Acorns to Oaks will find a place to grow — as people, as horse riders, and as community members.
AOHC offers riding lessons for ages 5 and up, horsemanship classes (unmounted lessons about horse care), and equine-assisted learning (unmounted interactions with horses that focus on learning about yourself and the world you’re in). We also have occasional vacation programs and community events. AOHC also partners with local nonprofit organizations to provide equine-assisted learning and experiences for the populations they serve. We want everyone to feel welcome here, whether it’s for an hour or a lifetime of horse-related learning.
